The Pre-Primary years build the foundations of literacy, numeracy, and social confidence through play, rhyme, storytelling, and structured activity. The Primary stage moves from foundational skills to systematic subject learning. Reading and writing fluency deepen, mathematical reasoning is built step by step, and Environmental Studies gives way to distinct Science and Social Studies from Class III. Assamese joins English and Hindi as a third language, and Computer Applications begins in the school Computer Room.

Middle School is where subject expertise deepens and independent thinking takes hold. Science separates into Physics, Chemistry and Biology strands, Social Science covers History, Geography and Civics, and students take on project work, oral assessment, and structured revision. This stage prepares students for the demands of secondary education.

CBSE qualifications are accepted by all universities and higher education institutions across India, giving DeMatha students a universally recognised academic credential. A child educated in Tulsibari carries the same board certification as a child educated in Delhi or Mumbai — geography does not limit where their qualification can take them.

CBSE follows textbooks published by the National Council of Educational Research and Training. These are designed to build conceptual understanding progressively, with age-appropriate language, worked examples, and content rigorous enough to prepare students for competitive examinations later in their schooling.
