Transport at DeMatha

DeMatha was founded so that children of this region would not have to travel long distances or risk their safety to reach a good school. School transport is part of keeping that promise. The school employs its own drivers as members of permanent staff, and transport is arranged to serve Tulsibari and the surrounding villages of the Rangia area.

Route lists, stop-by-stop timings and transport fees are set each academic session by the school office and are not published on this page. Parents should confirm current arrangements directly with the office.

How Transport Works

Getting to School Safely

Our Own Drivers

Transport is run by drivers appointed as permanent members of the school staff, known to the administration and accountable to the Principal — not contracted out to strangers.

Local Routes

Routes are planned around Tulsibari and the villages of the Rangia area, which is where the great majority of DeMatha families live.

Supervised Boarding

Boarding and dismissal are supervised by school staff, with dismissal timings issued to parents by circular and revised through the year as needed.

Parent Communication

Any change to timings or arrangements is issued as a formal notice through the school and published on the Notice Board.

Apply Through the Office

Transport is arranged at the time of admission or renewal. Speak to the school office to confirm whether your village is served and what the current arrangement is.

Safety First

The school holds a valid Fire NOC, Building Safety Certificate and Sanitation Fitness Certificate, and applies the same seriousness to how children arrive and leave.
