DeMatha English Medium School is a CBSE-affiliated, co-educational English-medium institution in Tulsibari, Rangia, Assam. Managed by the Muktidhan Trust under the O.S.S.T. Trinitarian Priests and inaugurated on February 14, 2019, the school was founded to address the pressing educational needs of rural Assam — a region where quality schooling has historically been out of reach.

DeMatha follows the CBSE curriculum — India's most respected academic framework — spanning from Pre-Primary (LKG) through Class VIII. Our approach combines rigorous content delivery with active, inquiry-based learning.

The school operates across two terms per year — April to September (Term 1) and October to March (Term 2). Internal marks, project portfolios, and oral assessments contribute to holistic evaluation alongside written exams.

DeMatha offers a comprehensive educational pathway from Pre-Primary through Middle School. Our play-based Pre-Primary programme (LKG–UKG) builds foundational literacy and numeracy, Primary years (Class I–V) develop subject knowledge and fluency, and Middle School (Class VI–VIII) deepens expertise to prepare students for higher studies.
